Towne Realty was founded in Milwaukee, Wisconsin by Joseph J. Zilber after
World War II to provide quality homes at affordable prices for America's
returning GIs.

We have continued our proud tradition of providing customers with quality, exceptional design and value in every home we build. This has resulted in the completion of over $1 billion dollars worth of construction in multi-family and single-family residences, office buildings, hotels and interval ownership resorts throughout the country. Our construction experience includes distinctive residential housing developments in Arizona, California, Florida, Hawaii, Nevada, Texas and Wisconsin.

Towne Realty began building in Hawaii in the mid-1970's, under Towne Development of Hawaii, Inc. (Towne Hawaii), and developed projects primarily for the federal government. These projects consisted of classified communications facilities in Haiku and Barber's Point along with housing projects at the Kaneohe Marine Corps Air Station, Aliamanu Crater, Schofield and Hickam Air Force Base.

Towne Hawaii quickly expanded their developments to private sole residential developments and joint ventures, they have completed the following residential projects, Keauhou View Estates, Ali'i Heights (Unit 1) and The Shores I and II on Hawaii, Launani Valley on Oahu and Ke Ali'i Kai and Kilohana Ridge on Maui. Other projects include: Alii Height Mauka, Sunset Ridge at Waikoloa, 17th Fairway Villas, Ohia at Kehalani, Iliahi at Kehalani, Ke Alii Ocean Villas and Moana Estates.
